Fill in the blank Friday!

Hey Yall!!! Friday is finally here, one of my favorite days!! Guess what????? We are all sick AGAIN! Dad, mom and baby!!! We have been germ free for a total of 3 weeks and BOOM, it hits us all at the same time!! STUPID COLD, Oh well we will all push through together!!  Poor Landon's eczema in kicking in full force, I feel so bad for him. He scratches and scratches, and it doesn't look so pretty either! His pediatrician has called him in some cream for it, I pray it gives him a bit of relief! 

Busy, busy weekend ahead of us!!! How about you!?

1.   What I love most about my home is      That its mine!!! When we first moved in there was so much to be changed, it was someone else's home and taste. It took me forever to make that house feel like my home!!! But it does now!!! My Favorite Room is my Bathroom, its newly renovated, its my little spa!!!

2.  I'm excited because,   This is my 2ND mothers day! I love that!! I have had several people wish me a happy mothers day today, I'm like yeah, I'm a mom,  I'm still getting use to that!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE  it!!

3.  My preferred method for blowing  off steam when I'm frustrated is     Talk about it I guess, and talk about it till I'm over it!! LOL!! So be prepared to talk forever. although I'm getting sooo much better at picking my battles!!!

4.  Currently I am craving  Buffalo Chicken dip!!!! YUMMMMMM Have you tired it!!?? If not let me know, ill  get you the recipe ASAP cause its soooo yumm!!!!

5.  The thing I love most about my mom is   Her Heart and her love for us, She loves us so much and wants the best for my sister and I. I know this sounds clique, but she would fight for us till she couldn't any more. She been through a lot and came back from a lot! She is so strong because of it!

6.  If I was going to write a book about my life, the title would be       About navigating, navigating my world as a wife, mother and my spiritual journey!

7.  If I were to eat one thing for the rest of eternity it would be       I going to say pizza! Because you can change it up sooo much, plus it has pretty much all the major food groups!!! YUMMMMM Maybe a veggie pizza for dinner tonight!!!

Quick question, do any of you have any advice or tricks for treatments of eczema? Thanks soo much Ahead of time!

Again!? Really?!

Here we go again!!!!!!!!!

awwwwwwwww it has become a vicious cycle!!! when one of us gets sick its inevitable that we will pass it to the other! Its never ending! I use to hardly ever get sick!! NEVER!!! I work in the health care field, so I have been exposed to everything (almost) So I kinda became Immune to many, many common illness for a long time!

That is until this tiny little human came along! prancing around with his cute little self, spreading his little snotty nose and germ covered hands all over ever square inch of our house! Climbing onto my lap to give me kisses or just to wipe his nose on my shoulder. Sneezing and coughing and not covering his mouth!!!(yes I know hes only 1 1/2) Now we stay sick!! Passing it back and forth like it this fun ping pong game!!! Its not Yuck!!

But you know.......... I proudly wear My snot covered clothes with thousands of tissues stuffed in my pockets!! Frazzled hair and big bags under my eyes. I have gladly given up 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep so he can rest comfortably! Why, because that means that I'm being a mom, and I'm doing the best Job I can do!! I LOVE this JOB I was made for it!!!

ICKY SICKY!! Blah!

Sickness has reared its ugly head in the Mitchell house AGAIN!!!! We are well one week, and the next we are battling ear infections or stomach viruses!!! YUCKKKK!!

This time it has hit all 3 of us at once, Daddy, Mommy and baby!!! I tell you this leads to some pretty restless nights. A baby coughing his head off, and a daddy snoring like some kind of wild beast man!! Yikes!!! Last night was a LOOOONG to say the least!!!

I took Landon to the Dr. Yesterday, poor guy couldn't get a break from coughing.I felt so bad for him, It was relentless.They tested him for RSV, THANK GOODNESS it was negative WOOHOO!!! She did say it was a cousin of RSV??? and that it would just have to run it course. Poor guy cough, cough cough, and their seems to be nothing I can do. :(

Daddy seems to have a sinus infection lots of sinus pressure and headaches, and Mom, she just has a good ole cold. BLAH!!!!

Thank goodness  it  all hit us this week. We are leaving for vacation next Friday! We are taking a trip with our friends to Williamsburg VA, Ive never been there. We are  SUPER excited! A nice get away from the normal of everyday!!! Have you guys ever been? Any suggestion on must see's and fun things to??
