Loooong weekend, how I loved theeeee!!!!

Sooooo You know the Lazy Song By Bruno Mars!?  Yeah,  Well I adopted it has My Weekend Theme song. Instead of just one day, I made it 3!! 3 lovely days of no agenda, Just all about doing what I wanted and having fun, with my boys of course!! Just in case you haven't heard, here ya go!!!

Saturday Landon and I went to visit my mom, It was an unexpected visit and we got there just in time. She was on her way out, with a friend of hers,  to Go pick strawberry's. At first I didn't want to go I just figured that it would be waaaay to difficult to manage Landon, and I just wasn't up taming a wild monkey; But she talked me into and We had soooooooooooo much fun! I Myself have never been to a strawberry farm to pick my own strawberry's, I cant wait to do it again! Since I didn't know we were going, neither Landon or I were dressed to play in the mud. Lets just say the outfit that Landon had on, that he had never worn is completely ruined! If you have never been, I suggest going, go early during the day and don't wear good clothes!! Then It was on to a cook out at Burchettes house, where the boys had a pool an sprinkler party! Landon was not a very happy camper!  But we still had fun laughing and playing!

Sunday was another lazy day!! I did something I haven't done in a LLLLLLOOOOOONG time!!! I went shopping alone!!! I had a date with TJ Max, and we had soooo much fun! 2 hours of me time, un-rushed, It was Lovely!!  Sunday night we had a memorial day Cookout At my parents house, were all the sudden I found myself agreeing to Landon's head being buzzed WHAT!???  All of my pretty curls, all that thick blond hair! Gone!! He looks like a different little boy and soooo much more mischievous!! SOOO handsome!! Mommy Got a new look and so did Lil man!!!!

Monday It was back to my moms, for some Fun in the sun, in the Pool!!! We literally did nothing, but lay out by the pool, laughed with friends and family and ate TONS and TONS of Junk! It was a beautiful HOT day!! It seems that I was soooooo stinking lazy that I forgot to take pictures!! UH-OH

Hair Affair!!

 I Have NEVER been happy with My hair! Growing up I had LOOOOONG naturally curly, uncontrollable frizzy hair!! Yikes!!! I had no Idea how to manage it, before I knew hair products existed. I was helpless in the hair department!!!

Then along came Hair Gel (wooooohoooo) Then my Hair had a new meaning, long sleek wet looking curls the wetter it looked the better! Yeah Right!!  I did always get complements on it but, I wanted beautiful long straight hair, and I wanted it to be blond!!! In the 8th grade I got my wish, My mom let me highlight my hair! I remember how excited I was, I was finally going to be a blond. OMG my hair dresser had NO idea what she was doing!!! I was like.... white bleach blond, no highlights, I was blond, and I looked horrible. I was sooo embarrassed to go to school. Thank Goodness there were only 2 days of  left, till summer vacation!

The older I got the braver I got with my hair. I was always looking for a change. I wasn't in a committed relationship with my hair!  The next few major hair happenings, were in college. Once I went red! NOOOOO red is NOT a good color for me, It was awful  and made me looks washed out and sick. OOOOOHHH what a relief when it grew out. Next I let a dear sweet friend talk me into coloring my hair. whelp the color was suppose to be dark drown....... yeah it ended up black, jet black. Again it was AWFUL. I cried and cried!!

Since then I have had several hair changes, length color, you name it Ive tried it! I have mentioned before that my sister just recently started doing hair. I'm crazy excited, Ive always wanted a my own personal stylist and now I finally have one!!!! So This week, I let my sister talk me into another crazy hair Idea! My hair is now a very dark brown with blue peek a boos!! I cant tell you how nervous I was, But she did an AWESOME Job, Although the color is almost black, it looks great!!!  ( Ill share a picture as soon as I get a suitable one to share!! ( I'm super picky) I think this may be my favorite cut and color EVER!!!

Anyway change is always good! Makes life less boring!! So have you had any hair flops or regrets??! I hope you all have an amazing memorial day weekend!

Ready For Random??

Sooo I haven't written a random post in a while so here ya go!!!

Monday I left work early, because I felt so awful. I really think I was  exhausted, I slept from 1-5 and went to bed early! I manged an early bed time Thursday night as well, which was a good thing since blogger went all crazy on us!I should be all caught up on sleep!! NAAH!!!

Mothers day was great, I love that their is a holiday just for me, It made me feel special!! I asked my husband to get me Crest white strips for my gift! I have been using them for a week now, I really think they are working, or it may be in my head!!! Have any of you ever used them?? how did they work?

Landon's eczema is under control Thank goodness, some of it is drying up. I have actually had complete strangers ask me whats on/wrong with his legs, It kinda hurts your feeling a little bit, I feel bad enough it is!!!!

We are teething , not sure which ones but  he has a mouth full!!!

That little stinker is refusing most foods these days. I cant get a veggie in him to save my life. The only thing he will eat consistently is cheese!!!!! I'm not sure what I should do?? Any advice?

I am in home makeover mode!! Jon is probably going to kill me, but I want to repaint the kitchen and our bed room. Its just finding the time to do it! We are just so busy during the summer!! I want to paint My kitchen Yellow and I'm clueless about the bedroom!!! I just want my house to be light an airy!!!

I'm sooo happy and proud to announce that we have paid off 2 Major bills within the last few months, which puts me a few steps closer to My stay at home mom dream!!! WOoooHHOOO!!!!!!

Work is getting a tiny winney bit better, Im sure things will be shaken up soon, we get thrown new things daily! Grin an bare it Heather!!!

I'm soooo addicted to Pinterest, I think its going t cause me to spend a ton of money!!! Sooo much inspiration!

This weekend has been pretty great!!!

ALLLLMOST FRIIIIDAY!

Hey Guys!! 

I'm totally Lacking in the creative department today! So I'm just going to sit here an see what the heck my brain tells me to write!!!! READY, SET,GO

I'm sooooo glad that its almost Friday! The last 3 weeks have been really looooooong, I know I probably say  that all the time, but they just like they have been extra long! 

Work has been a mess! Our company has been bought out by a BIGGER company, and with that come major change, and with major change comes lots and lot of complaining. Reallllllllly people we cant make things better with complaining. We can definitely make it easier on ourselves if we just go with it and learn! AWWWWW I have such an issue with negativity!!!

Tonight we finally got to Celebrate Kai's birthday, a whole week and 1 day later!!! WHAT??  Landon has been sick, Kai's been sick, Kai's Mommy has been sick, We just couldn't get it together!! Today we finally did!!! We went to the park had a picnic ate cupcakes and played and played!! It was so nice to get out and do something different!  Guess who Made our cupcakes??? Jon did!!!  He was so sweet to make them for us! He did such a good job! I love that man!

• Its Tuesday..... Yay!!! 
• I'm still in shock and my heart is breaking for the people of Japan. All of the footage on TV just seems so unreal. I will continue to pray to Japans recovery.
• Landon ate a little better today! YAY!!! (THANK YOU!!!! All of you awesome ladies who responded to my call for help, I really appreciate you taking the time to read and reach out!) If you didn't read yesterday's post, I'm having trouble getting Landon to eat! Id love to hear what you have to say!

I'm Baaaack!!!!! Did you guys miss me??? I sure missed yall!! I cant believe I haven't posted since Monday, WHOA!! I feel soo out of the loop!!! I have sooo much reading and posting to catch up on!!! New followers please forgive me, I'm coming to visit you , I promise!!!

Vacation was a blast, we had sooo much fun , lots of little adventures and relaxation!!! I cant wait to show you guys pictures and tell you all about it!!! So bare with me as I get myself organized!!

 So, tonight Jon and I were invited to a birthday party. A sweet 16 birthday party, so the fact that  were invited made me feel uber cool!( I wont mention that we are good friends with her parents) Nope we got invited purely on our coolness!!!!! Anyway I have to tell you that tonight I realized that I'm old. Hanging out with a large group of 16 year olds can do a lot for your self conscious, don't get me wrong they were super sweet. But they are so tiny and  and sooo stinking cute. UGGHH! I Honestly don't think, if given the chance ,I would  even think about going back to 16, way to much DRAMA, and silliness. But tonight I realized that 16 was a loooong time ago.  I'm  not as young as I thought I was, but age is just a number right? Got the best years of my life ahead of me!!!
