Summa Time!!!

Hey Guys!!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Summer!! I know we are !! We are keeping busy, going here there any every where!! I Have been a pretty Awful blogger lately, I'm really sorry that I have let you down, But if your here and reading, Thank you sooo much for not giving up on me!!! I do plan on coming back in full force after things Clam down!!!  I have so many happy things to  Share, I cant wait!!!

This Summer has been sooo much fun with Landon! He is growing so fast and he makes my jaw drop every day, I really Just cant  believe how Smart he is!!! I'm Like seriously!! Is this my Child!!! hehe!!!! Its Hard to believe that Saturday he will 20 months!!! WHOA!!!!! 

HAHA! I cut Myself Off!

 Ive been in the kitchen a lot more lately! Whipping up some fun stuff! OMG I made homemade chicken salad the other day! I shocked myself at how good it was!!! Jon couldn't believe that I made it!!!! I'm going to have to say it will now be a staple in out house!!!! We've been eating lots of fresh veggies from our garden and Landon has found a love for fresh blueberries!!!!

The weather has been scorching hot. So hot that its been difficult to go out and play! This week is no different with highs getting in the triple digits!!!!  I can  honestly say that I look forward to fall temperature's!!!

This Summer has been my favorite by far!!! I'm going to do my best to keep up with the blogging world! I have missed you guys so much!!!!! I feel like I have lost friends!!! Have a beautiful week!!!

4th Of July!

I LOVE the 4th of July, its one of my Favorite Holidays, I  have Soooooo many wonderful memories of the 4th of July!

Growing up, every 4th of July was spent at my great aunts house, with 50 or 60  family members, it was a family reunion of sorts, I remember running around, playing until I couldn't go any more, Hamburger's and hot dogs, yummy cakes and watermelon. Sparklers were always a highlight followed by our very own private fireworks show, over the years unfortunately those get togethers have fizzled out, but I'm left with fun memories!

 Ohhh and the parades are sooo much fun, everyone is excited with anticipation to see whats next, waving American flags and everyone in there red, white and blue! Last year was Landon's first Parade he was sooo excited and he just waived his little flag! This year I'm thinking we may have to stop him from darting into the street YIKES!!!
I'm soooo excited!!!

 I Love the Yummy cookouts with all of your favorite summer time foods, followed by beautiful firework displays. I'm really looking forward to seeing it all though Landon's eyes!

Hey Y'all! I'm Heather , small town southern girl ! Mom to the most adorable little boy in the world! Hes a 19 month old Crazy monkey boy! I'm a working mom who is dying to be a stay at home! I work at our Local Cancer Center as a medical assistant, basically I do what ever the Dr. asks of me! I love my Job. Its very rewarding and has given me so much insight on my own life!!! Dealing with cancer everyday you learn that the small stuff just doesn't matter! As much as I love my job, I love my son more, and am doing everything I can to be a stay at home some day!! Did you read My warning up top?? Yeap I cant spell My grammar is awful and I use the exclamation point way tooooooo much, but I love what the blogging world had given me!!!!!!!!

 

 This is Jon my knight in shining armor. He along Landon are my world. He does everything in his power to make us happy. He is a beautiful person inside and out. I don't know where Id be or who Id be without him! there are days were I feel as if I don't deserve him! But I thank God everyday !!!

 This is Landon My crazy monkey boy! My life changed the moment he was born, and now I cant Imagine my life without him! Although he wears me out from constant monkey shenanigans, he never leaves us with a dull moment weather it be laughing or crying! He has Jon and I wrapped around his finger!

 My Blog is about my life as a working mom, trying my best to remain positive in all situation's, although not always easy!! I have my fair share of bad days and post about them often!!!!! there is a whole lota love and smiles here!!! I hope you stick around for awhile, Id love to get know you!!!

Beach Bumz!!

I look forward to our beach vacation every year, I always build up so much anticipation. This year I was really looking forward to watching Landon explore and see new a different things! Last year he was to little to know whats going on, this year was full of surprises and LOTS and LOTS of laughs!

 

We played lots and lots of games corn hole and boccie ball were his favorites. He also discovered that seagulls will eat anything!

Landon Learned how to be the center of attention,  by wearing a bucket on his head and singing the happy song! Hanging out with a  3 and 4 year old little girl, he learned how to  use his lungs and found a little mean streak! This Little guy has no fear!!

Mr. Independent wanted to ride every single ride on the boardwalk, he ran around like a little monkey. Several times he tried to sneak on rides, when he thought mom and dad weren't looking! We did ride a mini pirate ship, a fun house, a train, and my favorite the Carousel! The Little sneak did manage to get a tatted up at 18 months, he drew all over his arms the minute Jon and I turned our head! NEVER a dull moment!

Although the week didn't go as planned. I still had so much fun with My boys and mad memories that will last a life time!! Needless to say it was incredibly difficult going back to work. I missed them soo much!

What An Awesome way to celebrate some of the most Important Men In our lives!

 

 This Man taught me right from wrong, taught me to believe in myself, and taught me about unconditional Love. He taught me how to be strong, how to live with my head held high and how to work hard and to be proud of what I have been given! Hes has faced many of life's toughest challenges with a strong back bone and a sensitive heart! Hes truly a man I can call my hero! I love you so much Daddy! Happy Fathers day!!!

VACATION!!!!!

This week I have been kicking back and relaxing a little and enjoying my sweet little family!!! Unfortunately there have been a few challenges, Well Maybe Some MAJOR challenges, but We will save them for another time! I have decided that I'm not letting anything else try to rain on my vacation parade and I'm going to enjoy the last few days that I have left! 


Th funnest pat of this whole week has been watching Landon see and do new things! He has cracked me up!!! His personalty is popping out all over the place!

Vaction Time (Never to be forgotten)

Hey y'all!!!

Just wanted to check in!!! Ive been MIA!! We left for vacation on Saturday!!! I have to tell you that I had the most eventful 4 hour ride of my life! Ill try and make this the short of the long!

We were driving down 40 towards Wilmington NC

When all of the Sudden a work van beings fish-tailing , and looses control, It happened so fast but the next thing I know the van was flipping in the air, it was all such blur, but the car flipped at least 4 times. It  finally landed on the other side of the highway in the median on its roof and then rolled over. I yelled to Jon STOP we have to Stop and help these people. My heart was racing and my hands were shaking, all I could do was pray for the poor people inside the van. Jon and my cousin got out and ran. My first instinct was to run, until it hit me that I had a sleeping baby in the car. It was all like something that you see in the movies. What amazed me the most was the amount of people who stopped and ran to those people, not knowing what they were going to run up on. It just so happened that 2 of the first people were a doctor and a paramedic. What are the chances??? 

There were 2  men in the van, heavily loaded down with tools and wood. They were banged up pretty bad, and in shock, but there was no blood. There is no doubt that God was with these men. The fact that no one was around them when they begin fish-tailing and they didn't flip into oncoming traffic was amazing. Needles to say Our family beach trip will never be forgotten.

 I hope you all had a beautiful weekend! I cant wait to share vacation stories with you and lots of fun pictures! So far there have been enough laughs to fill the Atlantic ocean! Love y'all! <3

Hair Affair!!

 I Have NEVER been happy with My hair! Growing up I had LOOOOONG naturally curly, uncontrollable frizzy hair!! Yikes!!! I had no Idea how to manage it, before I knew hair products existed. I was helpless in the hair department!!!

Then along came Hair Gel (wooooohoooo) Then my Hair had a new meaning, long sleek wet looking curls the wetter it looked the better! Yeah Right!!  I did always get complements on it but, I wanted beautiful long straight hair, and I wanted it to be blond!!! In the 8th grade I got my wish, My mom let me highlight my hair! I remember how excited I was, I was finally going to be a blond. OMG my hair dresser had NO idea what she was doing!!! I was like.... white bleach blond, no highlights, I was blond, and I looked horrible. I was sooo embarrassed to go to school. Thank Goodness there were only 2 days of  left, till summer vacation!

The older I got the braver I got with my hair. I was always looking for a change. I wasn't in a committed relationship with my hair!  The next few major hair happenings, were in college. Once I went red! NOOOOO red is NOT a good color for me, It was awful  and made me looks washed out and sick. OOOOOHHH what a relief when it grew out. Next I let a dear sweet friend talk me into coloring my hair. whelp the color was suppose to be dark drown....... yeah it ended up black, jet black. Again it was AWFUL. I cried and cried!!

Since then I have had several hair changes, length color, you name it Ive tried it! I have mentioned before that my sister just recently started doing hair. I'm crazy excited, Ive always wanted a my own personal stylist and now I finally have one!!!! So This week, I let my sister talk me into another crazy hair Idea! My hair is now a very dark brown with blue peek a boos!! I cant tell you how nervous I was, But she did an AWESOME Job, Although the color is almost black, it looks great!!!  ( Ill share a picture as soon as I get a suitable one to share!! ( I'm super picky) I think this may be my favorite cut and color EVER!!!

Anyway change is always good! Makes life less boring!! So have you had any hair flops or regrets??! I hope you all have an amazing memorial day weekend!

This Easter, I had such high exceptions, It was out first real Easter that we could actually enjoy with Landon. I was so excited to celebrate our wonderful God, have my family and friends in one place, where we  could all enjoy yummy food,  laugh and just really have a good time!
