Hey Friends!!!

Hey Friends!
Ive been a bit MIA lately! The last 2 weeks have been quite the whirl wind around the Mitchell House!
Ive been sick, then baby, dad's been working side jobs and had a few nights of night shift! Its been quite the recipe for exhaustion!!!!! Just a part of being parents! RIGHT?

Took a trip to Ikea yesterday, Landon in tow and let me tell you, I most def will not be doing that again any time soon without daddy!
He wouldn't sit in the buggy and refused his stroller, didn't want to walk and hold my hand. He just wanted to be carried, all the way through the top floor, and you guessed it the whole bottom as well!!! Let me tell you my arms are ripped!!!! Whew!!!! Nope not again for a long time!!

 So Ive been thinking, I haven't been treating myself well lately! Ive been ignoring my skin, My waist and my body!! I need to make a plan! I need to drink more water cut down on my carbs, eat healthier!! Spend some time on me!! I'm just sooo unhappy with myself right now!

  So what is one thing that you do for yourself, to treat your self? whats your favorite beauty regimen! what do you do for you!??

  2. Girrrrl, I am totally with you on kids and Ikea! My girls said they wanted to walk around instead of going to the play place. MISTAKE! Lonie was there but you could tell, he wasn't just loving it the way I was. Maybe we should go together! I also encourage you on doing something for yourself. As women, we often put ourselves last but Mommy needs to be healthy to take care of all she needs to do effectively. I LOVE a good pedicure to treat myself!

  3. I have been feeling the same way aboutr myself...so, I cut out the diet Dr. Pepper and have been drinking water ever since...eating healthier and taking better care of my skin!!

  4. ummm, I would have to say that it sounds like i am in the same boat as you. I just make sure to take the time to actually put my face on a couple days a week lol!! I ALWAYS wash my face and put on cream before bed. I also added a lot more cucumber to my diet and my skin has really improved and cleared up because of it!!

  5. Glad you're back, my friend! I was missing you! I certainly understand getting busy though, and sometimes blogging gets pushed aside for awhile.

    Sorry your trip to Ikea wasn't so great. I'm still jealous though - I hear Ikea is AMAZING and my closest one is 500 miles away.

    I'd suggest drinking more water, getting enough sleep and choosing healthy snacks. Be good to yourself!

  8. UGH......I'm feeling so out of shape and bloated huge lately! YUCK.
    I need to get into a exercise rhythm of some sort.
    Don't be so hard on yourself. I think most people feel like this when coming out of winter. HUGS HUN!

  10. It is so hard to get stuff done / go somewhere with the kiddo sometimes ... and the carrying! My arms are so strong from carrying him all the time, but they sure don't look it, haha!

    I like to get a massage when I need me time, but it's so expensive that I only do it twice a year. Other times, just get a hair trim, a coffee or a pedicure ... simple things and a couple hours away from the house, alone, to just re-group. It helps!
