I love Friday!! Fill in the blank time!

FRIDAY!!!!! I'm sooooo happy to see you!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being here, you NEVER let me down!!! It has been a really rough week at work,  I think I'm going to save  may rant about work  for another post!!!  I didn't get to watch a lot of the Royal Wedding this morning, but I did get to see some! I actually woke up at 4 something and saw David  and Victoria Beckham entering the wedding, He looked rather handsome and she looked very pretty , although I wasn't a huge fan of her hat right in the middle of her forehead!! I also got to see bits and pieces of the vowels! Kate or Katharyn  looked absolutely beautiful!!!! I cant wait to see the recaps of everything I have missed!!!!

So it became my Friday to tradition to play along with Lauren at The little things we do! Go join its fun!

1.   I am looking forward to       My family beach trip coming up in June!!! My whole family, about 17 of us rent a house, we lay out all day and eat yummy food!! Its sooo much fun!! I'm looking forward to summer with Landon we will be able to enjoy sooo much more now that hes a little older!

2.  Something kind of embarrassing that I still love anyway is    ummm.... I sleep with a blanket that Jon gave me when we first started dating, I love it and If I don't have it I just don't sleep as well!!! Don't Judge!!!!

3.  My favorite car is    I have always loved Range Rover's, but I really like my car its a Mazda 6. I love the new body style, maybe ill have a new one some day!!!

4.  If I could pick one type of weather to live with for the rest of my life it would be   This is a though one for me, I like all 4 of the seasons, If I had to choose I would prob want early summer weather, not to hot ,with a breeze, just warm enough to be able to jump in the pool if you get to hot!!!

5.  My favorite thing to do after a bad/stressful day is     Just go home!!! These days its just seeing Landon's Face, his sweet smile can honestly make me forget about a bad day!!!

6.  This weekend       I have NOOOOO plans, and I love that!! I'm excited that I have no obligations and can do what ever I want!!!!!

7.  If I were a color, I'd be       blue, yellow, pink      because,     blue because its such a calming color, yellow because it soo happy and bright and upbeat!! <3 Pink because its so girly and fun!!!

Firday!!!! Blank Time!!!

Ladies, and Gentleman! Happy Friday!  I know I have been pretty absent lately,  But Ive really been working hard , doing lots of spring cleaning around my house!! Yall it unbelievable the pile of clothes I have to giveaway/Yard sale. We had enough clothes for whole Dugger family, well...... not really, but its quite ridiculous that I hadn't cleaned out my closet a lot sooner! I promise I will share pictures as soon as I'm done!!! Wheeeeeewwwwww. I had to stop and take a blog break.

Time to fill in the blank with the sweet Lauren @ The little things we do.

1.   Fridays are       Awesome, just  knowing that I don't have to wake up at 6:30 for work the next morning is great. Friday nights are really chill at the Mitchell house, we usually do take out, watch movies and just enjoy being at home!!

2.    Smiles, compliments, sunny days, Landon and the smell of Honey suckles!! Not in that order HAHA    make me terribly happy.

3.  Something that inspires me is   So much inspires me these days, Landon, Jon, The blogging world, Movies, Time, friends, My patients,and so much more!  .

4.  If I had the day off today I would    Well I had the day off and I have spent the entire day cleaning, I'm pretty tired, but I'm sooo ready to enjoy a nice clean organized house! Now if I hadn't been cleaning all day I probably would have been cuddled up on the with Life Time Movie network and my computer!!!

5.  If I had to put a label on my home decor style, I would say my style is  Beach cottage like, I like blues and calming colors, My decor is really eccentric, not much matches but I think it all goes well together! Id love someone to come in a tell me what home decor label is!

6.  Concerning politics I would say I'm      To be honest , and I'm sorry to say this but I'm sooooo indifferent, don't get me wrong, I vote  and I disagree on  a lot of whats going on, but I cant change it. I probably need to pay more attention , but it all just bores me, I'm awful I know, don't hate me!!

7.  I'd like to go to       Disney World      so I could       Play like a kid alll day long with Jon and Landon!!!! I can't wait to go someday!!! .

Challenging Myself!

Hey!

I'm soooo excited, and I'm  totally going to contradict my last post, but........ today was my Wednesday and tomorrow is my Thursday...... you get the point! I have Friday off!! Jon has Thursday and Friday off! Lucky guy! We have been doing tons of spring cleaning, trying our best to get our house back to some kind of manageable order. My head just spins when I don't have control over my house. Messy house = overwhelmed mom! I have finally gotten control over a few rooms, Now its on to our bedroom and closet! OK soooo I'm some what of a sentimental hoarder with my things, if someone gave it to me I feel like I have to keep it forever. I have clothes from the 10th grade things that Jon gave me as gifts, that I will NEVER wear again, but I cant part with and things from my mom. I know its crazy, but for some reason my brain cant rationalize getting rid of clothes and shoes!

We have very little closet space in this house!

It was built in 1968, its pretty obvious that the people who built this house didn't need or didn't have lots of clothes! Our dresser and closets are STUFFED to the max, and we have tubs full in our basement. I know that there are several rules of thumb out there for getting rid of clothes. If you haven't worn it in a year get rid of it ....ect, ect....

So I have made a decision, I'm going to do this! I going to clean out my closet, I'm getting rid of anything that isn't the least bit stylish, I'm getting rid of the size 4's that Ill NEVER fit into again! Its gone, its out!!! Its going to be hard, but I'm going to do it! I'm imagining myself taking a deep breath stepping back and saying awwwww.... when this is all over and done!!!

 So for your viewing pleasure, I'm going to show you the before!!! DON'T laugh I told you its tiny and crammed!!! DON'T LAUGH, but I will allow you to feel sorry for me cause its so small!

 Ill share with you my progress. Hopefully Ill get it done with in the next few days!!

Weekend COOOME BACKKK!

Hey friends!! Is it Almost Monday again!??

AWWWWWWW MAN!!!!!!

 Tonight at church my small group ended up talking about how quickly time fly's . A subject that we all know well!! One of My girls was talking about how she sometimes wishes that her birthday didn't come , because that meant she was another year older another day closer to growing up, (shes 15) she's a year closer to losing someone she loves, or she' her self dying. She said she wasn't ready to leave, she had way to much she wanted to do. I know this sounds a bit morbid , but getting insight from a 15 year old really stops an makes you think.  I remember when I was younger I use to be scared to death thinking that my grandparents where not always going to be there, and couldn't fathom not having my mom or dad! I think that as we get older we don't think of things like this as often, at least I don't.

What I do worry about is not enjoying the now, Lately I have been living for the weekends. Simply because that means I get to spend every second with my family. Tonight she really got me thinking, that I need to start enjoying everyday even the ugly parts, maybe not enjoy but embrace, After all, the ugly parts help to shape us to who we are. But how? How do I embrace the mundane that is my everyday? This I have to learn! For now Ill just pray that, and try to intently enjoy the now! 

 Now!!!!!!! Jon and I went on a date last night!!!! WHAT WHAT!!!!  the first one since  my birthday, that was December! It was LOOOONG over due! I was a bit lost with out the lil man, but it was really nice to hold Jon's hand and to laugh with him, without having to worry what Landon was doing. Being able to sit down and enjoy a dinner without having to get up, I almost didn't know what to do with myself. Needless to say we missed that baby and decided that date night needed to happen more often!

ALLLLMOST FRIIIIDAY!

I'm totally Lacking in the creative department today! So I'm just going to sit here an see what the heck my brain tells me to write!!!! READY, SET,GO

I'm sooooo glad that its almost Friday! The last 3 weeks have been really looooooong, I know I probably say  that all the time, but they just like they have been extra long! 

Work has been a mess! Our company has been bought out by a BIGGER company, and with that come major change, and with major change comes lots and lot of complaining. Reallllllllly people we cant make things better with complaining. We can definitely make it easier on ourselves if we just go with it and learn! AWWWWW I have such an issue with negativity!!!

Tonight we finally got to Celebrate Kai's birthday, a whole week and 1 day later!!! WHAT??  Landon has been sick, Kai's been sick, Kai's Mommy has been sick, We just couldn't get it together!! Today we finally did!!! We went to the park had a picnic ate cupcakes and played and played!! It was so nice to get out and do something different!  Guess who Made our cupcakes??? Jon did!!!  He was so sweet to make them for us! He did such a good job! I love that man!

Dear Landon,

Landon,

Even though losing your big (brother or sister) Was a traumatic time for you dad an I.

I learned some of my life's biggest lessons during that time . I truly believe that God knocked my my door. He opened up my eyes to a love greater then anything I had ever felt or knew. For those few days, I loved something that I had never met more then I loved myself. That love over powered any fear that I had toward pregnancy. Not one time did Your dad an I wonder how we were going to support  another human being, that thought never crossed my mind, again that love over powered any fear! I was  now ready to share our lives ready to start a new chapter where you dad and I could grow! God opened my eyes, he knew what we needed better then I did!

Needles to say we were in a hurry to start our new family, we were soooooo ready!!! It didn't  take quite has long as we had anticipated. As a matter of fact it happened quit fast!  The day was March 16^th, I was at work, I felt different , something in me just knew  I was pregnant! I called you aunt Cici,  an asked her to go to the store and pick me up some cheap dollar store tests! Ha ha I think she bought us 50!!! I was soooooooooo scared and so nervous I wanted to be pregnant so bad! God didn't want to make me wait much longer either, It took less then 5 seconds for that test to turn positive!!! My eyes welled up, Thank you God, for giving me another chance!!  Your dad was the happiest man on earth, he was so excited! We wanted to tell everyone, but were so scared of getting peoples hopes up . We decided that we were going to wait for 12 weeks when we knew that the chance of miscarriage dropped dramatically!  HA-HA yeah right we couldn't wait a day, it was killing us! We called all of our close family and asked them to say lots of prayers for you!

The next 12 weeks flew by , although at the time it felt like an eternity. Every cramp, every pain, I wondered if you were OK, I prayed for you every second of everyday, Dear God, Just Please let this baby be OK. When the 12 weeks finally past,  I felt like I could breath again, I knew there was still a chance, but I was optimistic!

Landon, I carried you for 40 weeks, I shared my world with you! You made yourself known time and time again!! You loved my right rib cage, your foot or hand lived there. You where as much of a monkey in my stomach as you are today, you barley let me rest. Your dad and I would sit and talk about what we thought you  were going to look like, who's eyes you would have, would you have daddy's ears, or my smile? I built you in my head over and over again, but It  didn't matter what you looked like as long as you were healthy! We couldn't believe we were going to meet you soon. Your dad an I where no longer going to be a couple, we were going to be a trio! We were so ready to meet you Landon Cole!

Hey Friends!!!

Hey Friends!

Ive been a bit MIA lately! The last 2 weeks have been quite the whirl wind around the Mitchell House!

Ive been sick, then baby, dad's been working side jobs and had a few nights of night shift! Its been quite the recipe for exhaustion!!!!! Just a part of being parents! RIGHT?

Took a trip to Ikea yesterday, Landon in tow and let me tell you, I most def will not be doing that again any time soon without daddy!

He wouldn't sit in the buggy and refused his stroller, didn't want to walk and hold my hand. He just wanted to be carried, all the way through the top floor, and you guessed it the whole bottom as well!!! Let me tell you my arms are ripped!!!! Whew!!!! Nope not again for a long time!!

 So Ive been thinking, I haven't been treating myself well lately! Ive been ignoring my skin, My waist and my body!! I need to make a plan! I need to drink more water cut down on my carbs, eat healthier!! Spend some time on me!! I'm just sooo unhappy with myself right now!

  So what is one thing that you do for yourself, to treat your self? whats your favorite beauty regimen! what do you do for you!??

5.  Something I'm really cheap about is    I try to be cheap about everything I buy!! I cant think of anything right now!!!!! probably  makeup!!!!

6.  Something I'm willing to splurge on is      An awesome Camera, a purse, and clothes for Landon and Jon!!

7.  I would trade  my job and the money     for    a n opportunity to be a stay at home mom!   in a heartbeat. (if I could)

 

 

 

Im soooo glad that its Friday! I'm ready for a restful weekend, although I'm not sure its going to be all that restful!! I have the opportunity to go to Ikea tomorrow , but I will have to take Landon with me, Ikea is just soo big and I'm so nervous  that he will act out and neither of us will have a good time!!
