Its All About Time!! A Lesson Learned from Motherhood!

Hey friends!  Gosh it has been a LONG, LONG, LONG week!! Did I mention its been a long week?!! I'm so glad that's it almost Thursday and I can put this crazy week, behind me!!

I assure you I'm not one to rush time, espicasily now that I have a son. That's defiantly one thing I have learned is that time goes by too  fast, and I defiantly don't want to rush a single precious moment with Landon. Days seem like seconds, weeks more like minutes and months like hours! Before you know it an entire year as passed right before you! If It weren't for pictures I probably couldn't tell you what I did the first few days Landon was home, or when he first sat up! It blows my mind.

I know growing up my mom ALWAYS said, enjoy your childhood, live up high school, don't rush growing up. Why in the word didn't I listen. Having Landon has definitely allowed me to see just how valuable time is. I have taken a few step back and re-evaluated my life.  My family is #1, they deserve all of my time, Ive cut out  things that drained me emotionally and physically, things that didn't allow me to give my 2 guys 100%. I don't want to miss a single milestone, or a precious moment that I will never get back.

Life really does go by way to fast!! This year I want to make a conscious effort to enjoy every moment that God gives me, The Good the BAD and the Ugly, So after writing this I'm realizing that I totally contradicted my first sentence! OOSP!!! I'm  going to make sure that I enjoy whats left of this week for sure!

  1. You are so cute! I like realizations that change my mind like that! Haha!

I remember my parents telling me that same thing. Of course, I don't think ANY child listens. But every day, I realize it more and more, I miss being in high school...with no responsibilities and endless amounts of time to spend with Mark Dean and my friends. Grr! Being grown-up is not fun.

But I think by blogging all of this, it's more proof we can show our children in the future to appreciate the time they have while they are growing up because they can see, not just hear, what we mean. Does that make any sense? Haha!
